These silk draperies are lined in the French blackout method to provide softness and fullness. The cream silk fabric is lined with interlining, black lining, and white lining (to the exterior), creating a luscious drapery and also protecting the silk fabric. These drapery panels are functional and can cover the expanse of glass.
